<reviewbody>A fun night but nothing perfect. I thought last year at the Visulite was much better in terms of intimacy, venue staff attitude and the sound quality. The band still made us smile and boogie down in style to ride out 2004. Check out the "Chevrolet" and the "Birdland" in the 2nd set. Mrs. Susan Trucks played and sang more than any other DTB show I have witnessed. My wife, who really enjoys STB, was loving all the Susan time this NYE.

There is a jpeg image of the marquee if anyone is interested, it's listed in the files.

One caveat, I did use Hi-SP for the 2nd set cause I didn't want a repeat of last year when my "Joyful Noise" got cut. Well, they only played a little over an hour before the encore break. The Hi-SP really is a solid codec but it ain't PCM, I can't tell the difference but some folks with very, very high end equipment might (I mean maybe) be able to differentiate. Also, the 2nd set was a sloppy affair at best for everyone. Lots of feedback, balloons popping, tons of crowd noise and noisemakers everywhere. Still, you get a good idea of what went down and we had fun doing it!

Plus, there were at least 5 or 6 other mics up, so there is bound to be a better copy out there that might get posted or passed around. Stay tuned if you don't like mine. Check it out and enjoy!</reviewbody>
